UPVOR has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes the standards we follow, the controls that exist in the product today, and how we work with law enforcement when violations occur.
UPVOR is restricted to users who are 13 years of age or older. Country-specific minimums (such as 16 in parts of the EU) are enforced where applicable. Account creation requires a date-of-birth or age confirmation, and accounts identified as belonging to users under the minimum age are removed.
UPVOR is not designed for use by children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from users under that age. If you believe a child under the minimum age has created an account, please contact us at info@upvor.com with the subject "Underage account".
UPVOR allows users to share content on the following surfaces, each of which is subject to the safety controls described below:
Every user-generated content surface in UPVOR provides a one-tap report mechanism and a block control:
In addition to user reports, the UPVOR backend performs the following automated checks on user-generated text:
UPVOR has an admin moderation queue with bulk-resolve capability where a human moderator reviews flagged content, resolves reports, and applies enforcement actions including content removal and user bans.
Profile pictures are the primary user-uploaded image surface in UPVOR. Today, image moderation is performed:
UPVOR is committed to expanding automated image scanning coverage in upcoming releases, including hash-matching against published CSAM hash sets where supported.
If you encounter CSAM in UPVOR: use the report option in the app or contact info@upvor.com with the subject "CSAM report". Reports of CSAM are prioritized, removed immediately upon verification, and the offending account is permanently banned. We preserve evidence as required by law.
UPVOR cooperates with law enforcement on lawful requests for information and acts on lawful preservation orders. When CSAM is identified on the platform, evidence is preserved and we work with applicable authorities and reporting bodies to ensure offenders are held accountable. UPVOR does not require a warrant or subpoena to act on CSAM — content is removed immediately upon verification.
Violations of UPVOR's child safety standards result in immediate enforcement actions, which may include:
UPVOR's moderation team is trained on the indicators of CSAE, grooming, and related child-safety risks. Our standards are reviewed at least annually and updated whenever new threats, regulatory requirements, or product surfaces require it.
